In–School Suspension, Elementary

Rather than using suspension as an empty punishment, this guided interview lets adults help elementary students more consciously sort through both their conflicts. A series of 14 questions with suggested scripts and goals, What Went Wrong? offers students a simple and effective structure for students to deal with their own conduct, while providing the school with documentation of the intervention. Includes practical questions and answers about the interview process, especially the concept of restitution.
