As part of an ongoing collaborative agreement, faculty from the schools of Education and Political Science are trained by Peace Education Foundation facilitators in our dynamic Conflict Resolution and Mediation Model. They in turn are now conducting classes in the University’s School of Continuing Education and reaching remote rural indigenous communities impacted by decades of violent conflict with seminars that support and implement Colombia’s reconciliation and peace process and foster “sustainable green communities for peace.”
