PEACE EDUCATION RWANDA…“CREATING A CULTURE OF PEACE AND RECONCILIATION FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES” KIGALI, RWANDA – JANUARY 22-31, 2017

With a deep commitment to foster peace education in all Schools in Rwanda, The Rwanda Conference of Catholic Bishops – Secretariat for Education partners with the Peace Education Foundation to train more than 40 educators from all 9 dioceses in Rwanda in valuable Conflict Resolution and Peer Mediation Skills and curricula using the Train-the-Trainer model. Its aim is to create Diocesan teams that can spread peace education to all Schools in the country sowing the seeds of peace and reconciliation for a future free of violence for the children of Rwanda.
