Community leaders and parents come together for training and to find creative ways they can impact their homes, schools, and community with violence prevention and Peace Education strategies in the community of Parroquia San Enrique, Villa Gobernador Galvez, Rosario, Argentina where they serve at risk children, youth and families. The “Name Acrostic” activity helped us to see how we are all interconnected and have so much in common that we can use in building peaceful communities.
The local team of 10 Peace Education Coordinators who have been trained through the PEF Train the Trainer process also gather for planning and evaluation to sustain the program and expand implementation. This ongoing collaborative partnership of many years has been generously supported by the Adrian Dominican Ministry Trust Fund.
