2018 BEGINS WITH COMMUNITY LEADERS AND TEACHERS

The Centro Antonio Montesinos (CEAM) located in the historic Convento de Santo Domingo, site of the first university of the Americas, hosts 65 community leaders and educators for two days of training in conflict resolution skills for the prevention of violence in communities and schools thanks to the generous support and collaboration of Adrian Dominican Sisters Ministry Trust. The “Centro Antonio Montesinos,” under the direction of Luisa Campos, O.P., is dedicated to advocating for social justice, the promotion of human rights, and community organizing on behalf of marginalized and at risk communities. CEAM has collaborated with the Peace Education Foundation in promoting violence prevention and conflict resolution since 2002.
