Advanced Skill Building for Mediators is designed to help students who have already been trained in mediation to further their knowledge of and delve deeper into the mediation process. This curriculum provides students with more sophisticated and in-depth practice in addressing underlying emotions, communication skills, breaking an impasse, body language, distinguishing interests, positions, and needs, and neutral reframing. Most lessons are geared more towards secondary students; many are useful also for mature mediators in upper elementary.
