TEACHERS AND STUDENT LEADERS OF FE Y ALEGRIA SCHOOL

The “Fe y Alegria Centro Educativo Espiritu Santo” hosts two days of training for Youth Leaders and Teachers. The dynamic first day of conflict resolution training gathered 123 Student Classrooms Representatives from grades 4-12 divided in a morning and afternoon session with the purpose of providing them with valuable peacemaking leadership skills that they can then transmit to their peers in their respective classrooms. The second day brought together 73 teachers grades PK-12 for a follow-up training in Peer Mediation where teachers creatively learned and practiced the Peer Mediation Process using a series of conflict scenarios which are commonly found in the classroom.
